The submission of Applications for the Film Scripts and Screenplay Outlines Contest "YOUR OWN CINEMA" is completed.

On January 22, the submission of written works for the Film Scripts and Screenplay Outlines Contest "YOUR OWN CINEMA" was completed. The Contest was initiated within the framework of the comprehensive project "Watch Ukrainian - create your own Future!". The results of the Contest, according to the number of submitted works, surpassed all the optimistic expectations of the organizers. The total number of works submitted for the Contest is 501 written works.

- It is important to note the high overall level of the submitted written works. The participants, in their majority, complied with the regulations and supported the topics of the Contest: "Initiatives for the future", "Partnership for the Future", "The Future is Created by People". - Mr. Andrii Rizol, a promoter of the project "Watch Ukrainian - create your own Future!" and communication expert comments on the preliminary results of the Contest. - A large number of Contest works in an interesting cinematic form send a message about the importance of maintaining the moral and civic values, an active life position, a positive view of the future. Nice to note that written works were send to the Contest from all over Ukraine (Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Mukacheve, Kyiv, Vyshhorod, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Nikopol, Enerhodar, Slavutych, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Odessa, etc.), as well as from abroad (Belarus, the USA and the OAU). I would like to say thank you very much to each participant for creative work and indifference to the Contest topics. - adds Mr. Andrii Rizol.

The next step of the Contest final part is the work of the jury, which takes place in two stages: firstly, the short jury will select 100 best written works from all the submitted works (on February 6, the list of works will be published on the Project website www.kinoua.org), and the second stage - the wide jury of the Contest, by its vote, will determine 20 Scripts-winners of the Contest, which will be screened for further run wide at the cinemas and on TV channels. At the end of February 2017, the Contest results will be announced.

The project “Watch Ukrainian – create your own Future!” is implementing on charity and patronage basis with the efforts of the Project sponsors and promoters. The General Partner and philanthropist of the Project is the Ihor Yankovskyi’s Charity Foundation “Initiative for the Future”. The Project is implementing with the assistance of the State Film Agency of Ukraine, partner support of the “Raiffeisen Bank Aval” and the “Baker Tilly Ukraine” company. The “Babylon” Company and Association “Promoting cinema in Ukraine – watch Ukrainian!” are the Project promoters and developers.
