Special film screening of the first movies from the Project collection

In the beginning of December, the "Watch Ukrainian - create your own Future!" project organized a special film screening of the first movies from the Project collection, with the participation of experts, Project partners, creative groups and authors of the Film Scripts which were screened.

More than a year ago, the Project declared itself and ran the first Screenwriting Contest "YOUR OWN CINEMA". There were 501 written works submitted from all over Ukraine. The "Watch Ukrainian - create your own Future!" is an unprecedented example of consolidation among the general public: starting from the artists and experts in the film industry to the representatives of socially responsible business. Their purpose is to create a high-quality national cinema product with a social component. The idea of ​​the Project is understandable, and practically is absolutely universal.

The movies based on Film Scripts have a running time of up to 3 minutes. They are planned to be shown at the cinemas before the main showtimes. Currently, two films "On the own Land" and "Paper Heart" are already demonstrating by Ukrainian cinemas before such movies like "Cyborgs" and "Breathe". The Ukrainian viewer has the opportunity to immerse in three minutes stories that are understandable and close to each of us.

The Project films are simple stories of modern Ukrainians, who are in conditions that are clear to everyone, with actual problems and, necessarily, with a positive end. In addition to the dramatic value of the movie plot, each film, due to the involvement of different filmmakers in film adaptation, has its own color and character, so to speak, "director's script", which will provide curiosity from the viewer in anticipation of the next three-minute stories.

On the day of the special film screening, the promoters of the Project demonstrated the first 10 movies: "Clown" and "On the own Land" - directed by Mr. Oleksandr Kyriienko, "Ordinary Morning" - directed by Mr. Kadim Tarasov, "Mono" - directed by Mr. Andrii Donchyk, "Untill the candle burns" - directed by Mr. Viktor Pryduvalov, "Voice" and "Elevator" - directed by Mr. Mykhailo Illienko, "Doors" - directed by Ms. Nataliia Davydenko, "Сadet" - directed by Mr. Oleksandr Stoliarov.

The next step of the Project promoters will be the creation of additional cinema products - the film almanacs "On the own Land" and "Doors", which will include the same 20 films which are the screen version of the Script-winners of the "YOUR OWN CINEMA" project. But they will be at the extended director's cuts from 3 to 15 minutes of screen time. They will live with their individual film release life and are scheduled for the film screening from June 2018.
