The most important thing for us in this Project is its role in shaping the target audience of Ukrainian cinema. Nowaday, it is very important to explain and demonstrate to the public that there is a Ukrainian cinema. It can be created by such language that people used to watch in cinemas. In fact, this movie will be about ourselves, about Ukraine, about Ukrainians, about the same people sitting in the cinema hall. It is vitally important for building a normal film industry. In this way, we create both market mechanisms and enormous cultural influence, as well as the formation of cultural identity. Perhaps it can be even called the construction of cultural self-identification.
