Expert of the Reanimation Package of Reforms, Head of the "Cultural Assembly" NGO, Ms. Olena Salata about the Project

The project "Watch Ukrainian - create your own Future!" continues its dialogue with an expert group of scholars and researchers. Taking into account the format of the Project implementation, the team constantly receives a wide-ranging expertise of the experts involved in the Project. This way Ms. Olena Salata, the expert of the Reanimation Package of Reforms and head of the "Cultural Assembly" NGO, shared with us her thoughts about the Project:

- It seems that the time has come when the Brothers Lumiere's magical invention will be useful for the development of Ukrainian society. Most Ukrainians want changes, however, we do not know often how to achieve them. Short motivating films give answers to the questions "What exactly do I want and can do for myself, my family, my school, company, city, for my Future?". They are like the grandmother's fairy tales about kindness and evil, good luck and hope, war and friendship, love and home. Such simple things are skillfully shown, soothe our souls and open the doors to the Future. They inspire to live and create. Because they are desirable to us, and the common desire has a great power of incarnation.

- I was able to watch some films at the initial stage of their splicing. This is an interesting experience and an important expertise. There was the answer - "Yes!" to the question "do we film what we had in mind?". Because the skill and professional responsibility of the production groups were combined with the grand idea that was laid in this Project. "Create Your Own Future" was taken by them as their own motto, as a call to an emotional partnership, when people work to give hope to other people.

- I hope that the domestic cinemas and TV channels will support the Project by providing screens and studios to the filmed films. I hope that the films will receive the recognition of the viewer and professional film community. I hope that the state will provide support, and the principles of the project will be studied by students of higher education, as an example of a conscious social and professional self-organization of Ukrainians.
